Sometimes my elbows hurt, from a combination of a million things. Mostly repetitive motion type stuff from sewing. I have four pencil cups on my desk, so I can keep various tools organized together and be able to access them all at once. I didn’t take a picture of it finished, but I did manage to get the pillowcase together before we left. The tear in the fabric was just from wear, but it had been let go for a while and the edges of the tear didn’t really connect anymore. Originally I thought I might applique over the torn bit, but then I decided it would look and feel weird, since the remaining fabric was so worn.

Oh goodie, I’m sick! Yesterday my throat hurt and I had such bad sinus headaches that I didn’t eat nearly enough and I didn’t do anything but sit on the couch. Linus sat with me and we watched hours of My Cat From Hell, which only highlighted how awesome my cats are. Went to bed at 9:30 and had a lot of fun trying to breathe all night. Ugh.

Linus has the worst poo of all cats I’ve known, and the stench clings to him for soooooo loonnnng. Unfortunately he is entirely too cute and snuggly, so I try to cuddle him and am repulsed by the aura of smells. So sad. Grossest cat.
Bill is out so it’s time to watch Rosemary & Thyme on Instant and lay all my nail polishes out on the floor and drink this weird cocoa thing. What color or twelve?

My new studio floor is being installed tomorrow, too. Bill was supposed to have a meeting in Tarrytown, but it was cancelled, and the floor guy could fit in the appointment. So we spent most of tonight moving all the stuff out of here. I am about to shut off my computer and move it out. SORRY COMPUTER. I KNOW WE DON’T SPEND ENOUGH TIME TOGETHER ANYMORE.

I have been trying to do this drawing for this dude for WEEKS and I keep being asleep.. It is finally almost done! All I have to do is erase all the pencil lines and do a little bit of finishing detail on the color, but I want to make sure that everything is 100% dry before I touch it again, so I’m not going to do that until tomorrow. HOORAY ART. PLEASE DUDE DON’T HATE IT.
